One of the sections of the 31st International Holy Quran Fair has put on display clips related to the Ashura using new displaying technologies.
This year, a unique section known as a “tent” was established
in the youth area of the Quran exhibition, said Mohammad Javad Salehi, director
of the booth.
The tent was designed to showcase a portion of the events
from Ashura 61 AH in 3D for those who are interested, he added.
“Thanks to God’s grace, we’ve seen a high turnout of
visitors in the first week of the exhibition,” he said.
Inside the tent, there are two 3D clips titled “Hazrat
Zainab’s (PBUH) Farewell to Imam Hussein (AS)” and “The Arrival of Hazrat Abbas
(AS) to the Euphrates”, he said, noting that these clips depict a segment of
the related events.
In the display area of the tent, a curved video wall is set
up, which enhances the audience’s experience, he said.
It’s worth noting that the headphones provided are of the
latest generation and highest quality, Salehi said, adding, this, in
combination with the video wall, amplifies the impact on the audience more than
ever before.
The event opened its doors at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla
on March 20, welcoming visitors to a spiritual and cultural journey that
coincides with the Nowruz holidays.
The exhibition, which will run until April 2, invites
enthusiasts to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to 00:30 AM local time.
A key highlight of the exhibition is its family-friendly
atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming space for all ages.
Additionally, the fair has arranged for Iftar tables to be
set up, providing a communal space for visitors to break their fast.
The fair features various Quranic institutions and
governmental bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries.
The also highlights the issues of Gaza and Palestine and the role of the Quran
in inspiring resistance.
The fair aims to familiarize people with Quranic concepts
through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums, especially for children and
teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj
al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy
Quran memorization.
