Iranian Actor Wishes He Was Not Famous So That He Could Visit All Sections of Quran Fair

Mehran Rajabi, a renowned Iranian actor and presenter, spent his Monday night exploring the 31st International Holy Quran Fair in Tehran.

“I had been meaning to visit the exhibition for several days, but couldn’t make it, however, today, I managed to get here before breaking my fast,” he said.

“The exhibition is a sight to behold - bustling with people, brimming with potential, and exuding an aura of revelation and devotion that seems to permeate both time and space,” he said.

Anyone who takes the time to truly absorb what’s on display here will find themselves invigorated for the year to come, Rajabi said.

The iftar was also excellent with everything being well-organized, he said, adding that a fasting individual could eat half of the iftar provided at the exhibition and not feel the need to eat until dawn.

“Anyone who appreciates any form of art will undoubtedly find a unique joy in visiting the Quran fair,” he said.

“Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t so well-known. It would be nice to be able to wander around the exhibition for a few hours, taking in all its different aspects without any interruptions,” said the actor.

The 31st International Holy Quran Fair opened its doors at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla on March 20, welcoming visitors to a spiritual and cultural journey that coincides with the Nowruz holidays.

The exhibition, which will run until April 2, invites enthusiasts to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to 00:30 AM local time.

A key highlight of the exhibition is its family-friendly atmosphere, ensuring a welcoming space for all ages.

Additionally, the fair has arranged for Iftar tables to be set up, providing a communal space for visitors to break their fast.

The fair features various Quranic institutions and governmental bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries. The also highlights the issues of Gaza and Palestine and the role of the Quran in inspiring resistance.

The fair aims to familiarize people with Quranic concepts through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums, especially for children and teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy Quran memorization.
