Visitors of the 31st International Holy Quran Fair have warmly welcomed one of the counseling centers erected in the event.
Ali Akbar Shurvarzi, head of Samah Islamic counseling
center, said on Saturday that specialists in various fields, including child
development, marriage, family issues, education, and talent identification. “These
experts offer free services to the esteemed visitors of the exhibition.”
“Last year, we received a warm reception from families
due to the inclusion of two crucial elements in our consultations: expertise
and religious commitment. Our counseling services are highly specialized. For instance,
a professor specializing in child counseling focuses exclusively on that area,”
he added.
“One standout service is tests that seek to spot
children's and teenagers' talents, which has been well-received by the
audience, he said, noting that numerous families sought to assess their teenagers'
abilities on the very first day.
“Within the academic department, we have competent,
devout, and expert counselors. Additionally, we offer specialized courses
covering a wide range of counseling topics, from child-related issues to talent
identification. Our trained specialists, who combine religious commitment with
expertise, are particularly fortunate,” he said.
Despite some negative perceptions about counseling,
approximately 80% of our consultations are preventive. Seeking advice from
experts on child rearing and other matters is essential for promoting a good
and healthy lifestyle, he said.
