An exciting FIFA video game league, known as the Ramadan League, is attracting growing number of teen gamers to the 31st International Holy Quran Fair.
The 31st International Holy Quran Fair, which opened its
doors at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla on March 20, is offering visitors a
unique blend of spirituality, culture, and entertainment this year. Seyyed
Rahim Hashemi, the director of games and entertainment at the “80s” booth,
announced the hosting of the FIFA video game league.
The Ramadan League is divided into two stages - national and
international. In the national stage, registered participants compete in pairs,
playing FIFA 24 on the PS5 console, adhering to the Federation rules. The top
three winners of this stage will receive attractive prizes, with the top winner
receiving a fully accessorized PS5 device, the runner-up a PS5 device, and the
third-place winner a smart watch, according Hashemi.
The international stage commences in the second half of the
exhibition. Here, the top two players from the national stage will compete
online against players from 15 other Islamic countries. The stakes are high,
with the first prize being $2,000, and the second and third prizes being $500
each.
Teenagers who are interested in participating in the Ramadan
League can still register through the website http://nojavanmedia.ir/ and join
the competitions.
The fair, which coincides with the Nowruz holidays, runs until
April 2 and invites enthusiasts to explore its offerings daily from 5:00 PM to
00:30 AM local time. It provides a family-friendly atmosphere, ensuring a
welcoming space for all ages.
The fair also features Iftar tables for visitors to break
their fast together following the Maghrib and Isha prayers, fostering a sense
of community and shared experience during this blessed month.
The fair features various Quranic institutions and
governmental bodies, as well as international participants from 25 countries.
It also highlights the issues of Gaza and Palestine and the role of the Quran
in inspiring resistance.
The fair aims to familiarize people with Quranic concepts
through artistic, cultural, and theatrical mediums, especially for children and
teenagers. It also offers sections on artificial intelligence, Nahj
al-Balaghah, Quranic research and consultation, Quran translation, and easy
Quran memorization.
